Warum DigitalArt?
Es war eine Idee. Sie kam anfangs 2021. Ich musste ihr nachgehen und sie in Tat umsetzen. Mein Leben nähert sich der letzten Phase. Irgendwann einmal, es kann noch etwas dauern. Jetzt habe ich das Bonuszeitalter erreicht und da kann man (fast) machen was man will, muss aber nicht. Es ist eine gewisse Art der Freiheit.
Ich nehme mir für meine künstlerische Arbeit diese Freiheit, so wie ich das will. Mein neuestes Werk durchbricht daher einige Aspekte der normalen Kunstwelt. Sehr Bewusst. In dieser Hinsicht bin ich aber längst nicht der Einzige.
DigitalArt ist etwas komplexer geworden und noch längst nicht fertig.
Es wird es möglicherweise auch nie. DigitalArt enthält künstlerische,
sozialpolitische und umweltpolitische Aspekte und will mit ihnen auch umgehen.
Wie geht das?
Ich liebe das Spielen, aber mit offenen Karten. Es ist ein geistiges Spiel. Und beim Spiel gibt es Gewinner und Verlierer. DigitalArt kann erfolgreich werden oder als Misserfolg scheitern, denn DigitalArt ist ein Spiel und das soll auch so sein. Spielen kann lehrreich sein. Das wissen wir. Es war schon immer so, seit unserer frühesten Kindheit.
DigitalArt soll frei sein. Frei für Besucherinnen und Besucher.
Ich werde es auch bald öffnen,
denn ich möchte dass auch andere Künstler:innen daran teilhaben können.
Ein fernes, nur angedachtes Ziel ist eine Stiftung.
Sie soll einmal als Plattform für digitale Kunst im weitesten Sinne zur Verfügung stehen.

Why DigitalArt?
It was an idea. It came in early 2021. I had to go after it and put it into practice. My life is approaching the final phase. At some point... but it may still take a while. Now I've reached the bonus age and you can (almost) do what you want, but you don't have to. It's a certain kind of freedom.
I take this freedom for my artistic work, just as I want. So my latest work breaks with some aspects of the normal art world. Very conscious. In this view, however, I am not the only one.
DigitalArt has become a bit more complex and is far from a final realisation.
It may never be. DigitalArt contains artistic,
socio-political and environmental-political aspects and wants to deal with them.
How does it work?
I love to play, but with the cards up. It's a mental game. As in all games there are winners and losers. DigitalArt can be successful or fail, because DigitalArt is a game, and that's how it should be. Playing can be educational. We know this. It has always been like this, since we were very young children.
DigitalArt has to be free. Free for visitors.
I'll open it soon too
because I want other artists to be able to participate.
A distant, only envisaged goal is a foundation.
It should be available as a platform for digital art in the broadest sense.
